Terms of Use — Lucid

End User License Agreement (EULA) — Last updated: July 26, 2026

These terms form an agreement between you and Guillaume Senderens, Entrepreneur Individuel (EI, France) (“we”), publisher of the Lucid application (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you accept them.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on any Apple device you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Usage Rules. The App is licensed, not sold. You may not copy, decompile, modify, or make unauthorized commercial use of it.

2. Subscription, free trial and purchases

Lucid Premium — access to the App requires a subscription:

Each plan starts with a 7-day free trial (once per Apple account).

3. Wellness disclaimer — not a medical device

Lucid provides digital wellbeing tools: screen-time reduction, breathing exercises, cognitive training and emotional self-observation. The App does not provide medical, psychological or therapeutic advice, makes no diagnosis, and is not a substitute for a healthcare professional. If you are in distress or experience persistent symptoms, please consult a professional.

4. Technical limits of blocking

App blocking relies on Apple's Screen Time frameworks and the permissions you grant. iOS does not allow absolute blocking: uninstalling the App or revoking system permissions ends all blocks, including in Hardcore mode. You acknowledge that blocking is a discipline aid, not a system-level guarantee.

5. Intellectual property

The App, its design and its content (texts, sounds, illustrations, exercises) are our property or that of our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law.

6. Warranties and liability

The App is provided “as is”, without warranty of error-free or uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with the App is limited to the amounts you paid in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory statutory consumer rights.

7. Apple-related terms

This agreement is between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for the App. In the event of the App's failure to conform to any applicable warranty, Apple may refund the purchase price; for any other claim (warranty, conformity, intellectual property, regulatory), we are solely responsible. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it against you. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. embargo and are not on any U.S. list of prohibited or restricted parties.

8. Termination

We may terminate the license if you breach these terms. You may end it at any time by deleting the App and cancelling your subscription.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Disputes fall under the competent courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. You may use consumer mediation or the EU online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
