Privacy Policy — Lucid

Last updated: July 26, 2026

In short: Lucid runs entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers — we have no servers. No account, no trackers, no ads.

1. Who we are

The Lucid application (the “App”) is published by Guillaume Senderens, Entrepreneur Individuel (EI, France) (“we”).
Contact: bonjour@lucid-zen.com

2. Data processed and where it lives

All data created in the App is stored locally on your device, in the App's private storage (SwiftData database and local preferences). This includes:

This data never leaves your device through us, and we have no access to it. If you use your iPhone's iCloud/iTunes backup, it may be included in your Apple backups, which are governed by Apple's privacy policy.

3. Screen Time (Family Controls)

To block apps, Lucid uses Apple's official frameworks (FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, DeviceActivity), with your explicit authorization. By Apple's design, your selection of apps to block is handled by the system as opaque tokens: Lucid cannot see the list of your apps or your usage history, and this information is not transmitted to anyone.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed exclusively by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store any payment data (card details, billing identity). Subscription status is verified on-device via StoreKit.

5. Notifications

Reminders and alarms use iOS local notifications. They are scheduled and triggered on your device only, with your permission.

6. What we do not do

7. Legal basis (GDPR)

To the extent any local data processing occurs, it is based on the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR: providing the features you use) and, for system permissions (Screen Time, notifications), on your consent, which you can revoke at any time in iOS Settings.

8. Your rights

Since your data is stored only on your device, you control it directly: you can view and delete it in the App, and deleting the App erases all data it created. For any GDPR request (access, rectification, erasure, objection), contact us at the address above. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in France, the CNIL — cnil.fr).

9. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data, including from minors.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is published on this page with its update date. In case of a material change (for example, the introduction of an online service), the App will inform you.
